MY STORY

The Person Behind AskThursday

A space built on lived experience, community belonging, and a commitment to honest guidance for TransMasc journeys.

How AskThursday Came to Be

There’s a particular kind of loneliness that comes from having a very specific question and finding nothing—no forum post, no article, no community member who had faced quite the same thing you’re facing.

That was me, years ago, at a pivotal moment in my TransMasc journey. The resources that existed were either too clinical, too generic, or written by people who had never actually lived it. I kept wishing there was someone I could simply ask.

So I became that person for others. AskThursday started as an informal thing—answering questions from folks in online communities, one honest reply at a time. Over years and hundreds of conversations, it became clear that this was a real and ongoing need in the TransMasc community.

This site is the formalization of that work. A place where your specific questions—the ones you might be embarrassed to ask, or the ones that feel too niche for any existing resource—can get real, thoughtful, experience-based answers.

Thursday isn’t just a name. It’s a nod to the day I took my first step on my own TransMasc path. I wanted this space to carry that energy: a turning point, a step toward something better.

WHAT I BRING

A NOTE

AskThursday shares personal experience and peer guidance—not medical, legal, or therapeutic advice. Always consult licensed professionals for formal healthcare decisions.

Why This Work Matters

The TransMasc community deserves guidance that comes from within—that understands the emotional, physical, and social layers of this journey without oversimplifying them.

AskThursday exists to close the gap between the questions people are actually asking and the honest answers they deserve.

Honesty

Straight answers without softening, spinning, or gatekeeping.

Specificity

Your question is unique. Your answer should be too.

Community

Rooted in the people I serve, not above them.

Experience

Every answer flows from lived reality, not abstraction.

WHY ASKTHURSDAY

What Makes This Different

Lived, Not Learned

The guidance here doesn’t come from research papers or secondhand accounts. It comes from personally navigating life as a TransMasc person—the highs, the difficult questions, the pivots, all of it.

Specific to You

Most resources answer a general version of your question. AskThursday engages with the real, specific thing you’re asking—because that’s the only version that actually helps.

No Gatekeeping

There are no wrong questions here. Questions that feel embarrassing, too niche, or already answered somewhere are exactly the kind this space is built for.

Community Embedded

This isn’t an outside observer looking in. I’ve been part of this community for years—attending, listening, contributing, and evolving alongside the people I serve.
