Anatomy Master Post
Content warning: small dissection pic on slide 6. i dont find it too gross myself, but YMMV.
Also, there is some discussion of anatomy, which is likely dysphoric for some of you. however, I’m approaching this from the perspective of understanding anatomy so finely, that we can literally reverse-engineer it.
I want you to understand it too. It’s literally infuriating to me how little this is discussed. How few diagrams seem to include it. There are no accurate on-T dick medical illustrations that I’ve found. i hope to change this. maybe next year my understanding will be even more refined. for now, this is the best i can do.
This was a few frantic weeks of work to draw and prep for peer review. I can’t do this kind of post frequently as drawing and carefully writing take so much time out of my life and away from loved ones, but I thought it was THAT important. I now need a little vacation, haha I hope you all enjoy and appreciate how much work this was.
Much thanks to u/bootbatll for assisting me with this discovery, and u/goblinpunk420 and u/littleamandabb for being a sounding board. Thank you to u/walterschmeck for releasing the tugger which assisted in my understanding, and u/ticarsh and u/dankmaymays11 for making me custom devices which BOTH helped me understand our anatomy better. there are many, many people who’ve helped me as i refined my understanding over the years. i appreciate you all.
So, let’s do this!
Because it’s not your urethral plate. It’s not a ligament. It’s an honest to god erectile structure. Since it’s an erectile structure, we can lengthen it. carefully.
The eight-year timeframe of the Cohanzad paper makes a lot more sense to me now. As does ‘retraction’, post-meta. Why fistulas and dehiscence happen. Why people talk about tight skin during healing when before they say they have too much skin. This is a major puzzle piece.
As part of this revelation, please, please don’t do DIY metas. you’re severing part of your dick in half, forever sacrificing the potential EQ assist from your vestibular bulbs.
Slide 13-18 are me showing my thought process from early 2025 to early 2026, and critiquing my old anatomical studies. I try to be transparent as my understanding develops. Sometimes I’m wrong. Sometimes i’m right, but for the wrong reasons. Such is science. Either way, I figured people would still be interested in seeing how I got here.
